African Night Fever

African Night Fever marks the launch of Black History Month with a festival of music, dance, film and food from the African diasporas and beyond. Heading up a packed programme of performers, artists and musicians is Ghanaian percussion legend Nana Tsiboe. Nana made his name sharing the 60s civil rights stage with Martin Luther King, Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X, no less. Since then he's worked with the likes of Fela Kuti, Marvin Gaye, Nina Simone and Oumou Sangare. His own shimmering fusion of Ghanaian palm wine music and modern African Highlife is guaranteed to give your feet a workout!
With a host of other bands and ANF DJs in the mix, African Night Fever is a joyous celebration of the rich and varied cultures of a continent.
